PURPOSE: To paint a wall surface so as to have inconspicuous joints by butting the longitudinal end edges of the filaments of long-sized paper, which are formed by paralleling many pieces of the filaments and adhering the same to the surface, joining said edges to the substrate of the wall surface and coating a paint thereto to the extent that the recesses between the filaments are not completely filled.
CONSTITUTION: An aq. adhesive agent 13 is coated on the rear surface of the long-sized paper 12 formed by paralleling many pieces of the filaments 11 to a beam state and adhering the same to the surface. The end edges 14, 14' of the long-sized paper 12 along the longitudinal direction of the filaments 11 are butted and are adhered to the substrate 15 of the wall surface. The paint 16 is then coated to the paralleled filament surfaces 17 to the extent that the recesses 18 between the filaments are not completely filled. The long-sized paper 12 and the butt joints 19 between the filaments 11 and the long-sized paper are integrally joined by the coated film 16 of the paint. As a result, the joints and cracks of the wall surface substrate are inconspicuously finished.
