Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous pigment dispersion which gives excellent water resistance of a recorded matter and excellent storage stability of an ink while maintaining re-dispersibility of dried ink in an ink injection nozzle when used for an aqueous ink, a production method of the aqueous pigment dispersion, an aqueous ink for inkjet recording comprising the above aqueous pigment dispersion, and an inkjet recording method using the aqueous ink.SOLUTION: The aqueous pigment dispersion comprises pigment-containing particles of a water-insoluble crosslinked polymer A, a water -soluble basic compound and water, in which the water-insoluble crosslinked polymer A constituting the above particles has a carboxyl group and a crosslinked structure containing an ester group derived from a water-insoluble crosslinking agent, the water-insoluble crosslinked polymer A has a saponification value of 170 to 300 mgKOH/g, and the water-soluble basic compound comprises a water-soluble amine compound. The present invention also discloses a production method of the aqueous pigment dispersion, an aqueous ink for inkjet recording comprising the aqueous pigment dispersion, and an inkjet recording method using the aqueous ink.SELECTED DRAWING: None
