Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair cross rolling mill and a rolling method therefor capable of preventing plate bending or a steel strip fracture phenomenon at the time of rolling a steel strip by constantly setting a position where the clearance between a cross head and a roll chock is generated even if a roll cross angle is changed.
SOLUTION: The pair cross rolling mill and the rolling method therefor is characterized in that a cross head liner which rams vertical stand-by roll chocks in the direction where stand-by rolls offset operating rolls is provided at the cross head of the pair cross rolling mill. Preferably, further, a cross head liner which rams vertical operating roll chocks in the direction where operating rolls offset stand-by rolls is provided at the cross head of the rolling mill.
