Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a braking arm from rubbing the end part of a ski board when the braking arm is moved from a stand-by position to an operational position by holding the shoulder part of the braking arm in such a manner that the end of a ski board holding the other ski braking device against the force of spring is being engaged with the braking arm. CONSTITUTION: Arms 13 and 14 being a braking arm, are equipped with plastic coverings 15 and 16 with the free ends of operational arms 11 and 12 being bent facing each other and connected to each other by a coiled spring 17. The inside of each covering equipped in the braking arms, has shoulder parts 18 and 19 which gather in upon the end parts 20 and 21 of the other ski board. When the ski braking device is in an operational position, a coiled spring 17 is held in an extended state of the braking arm. To move the braking arm to a stand-by position, one is to pull in the braking arm against the force of the coiled spring 17. Thus, the contact of the braking arm and the ski board can be avoided during a positional change.
