Abstract:
PURPOSE: Palatinose is used as an additive to a chewing gum base to increase and keep up the effect of flavor and taste in the chewing gum.
CONSTITUTION: Palatinose of 200W300 mesh particle size is added to a chewing gum base along with flavors and other additives and they are mixed, rolled spread to produce chewing gum products. The amount of palatinose is 0.1W 10 times the weight of the gum base and 10W100 times the weight of the flavors.
