To eliminate the need for a cylinder assembled in hooks as moving bodies and a protecting material such as a cable bearer and the possibility of accidents including breakage and improve the simplicity and reliability of a locking/unlocking switching mechanism for a pallet by making a whole pallet moving unit rotationally movable to form the locking/unlocking switching mechanism for the pallet.

A pallet moving unit comprises a frame 2 provided to be rotationally movable around a pallet changer 20 and hooks 3, 4 reciprocatingly mounted on the frame 2 so that the lock/unlock of a pallet 50 on the side of a plate material machine 30 can be switched in cooperation of the hooks 3, 4 with the frame 2 as a pallet 40 on the side of the pallet changer 20 remains locked.
