To provide a pallet carrying method, requiring a less number of parts and no high dimensional precision for components and greatly reducing installation costs by simplifying the construction of devices and facilities.

A pallet carrying device 10 has a driving shaft 14 and a pallet 18. The pallet 18 is provided with a rotatable roller 26 which has force contact with the outer periphery face of a driving shaft 14 with the dead weight of the pallet 18 in the state of being inclined to the axis of the driving shaft 14. The positive/reverse rotation of the driving shaft 14 produces friction force between the roller 26 and the driving shaft 14, and the component force of the friction force works on the roller 26 along the axis of the driving shaft 14. Thus, driving force is granted to the pallet 18 to move the pallet 18.
