PURPOSE: To lower a support plane in conveyance facilities for vehicle bodies or the like by forming each pallet conveyance passage using an idling roller conveyor, and disposing a pallet feeder and a pallet brake device on the upper and lower sides of each passage, respectively, and making the roller of each device act on the side face of each pallet.

CONSTITUTION: Conveyance passages 9 each comprising an idling roller conveyor 10 are arranged in parallel to each other with their directions of conveyance opposite each other and are connected together by a return passage 20. A feeder 30 for pallets 1 and a brake device 25 are disposed, respectively, at the start and terminal end portions of each conveyance passage 9. The feeder 30 comprises a servo motor 37 and a feed roller 39 made from urethane and driven by the motor 37, the servo motor 37 being equipped with a reduction gear and supported via a support member 35 supported by a cylinder device 41 in such a manner as freely oscillating about a longitudinal shaft 33. Similarly, the brake device 25 comprises a reverse rotation driving device 27 and a braking roller 26. The pallets 1 are conveyed by the feed rotation of the feed roller 39 and controlled by the reverse feed of the braking roller 27.
