Abstract:
To provide a pallet conveying device capable of doing positioning and holding with high accuracy without a separate positioning device with a driver of a conveying device, and separately using a synchronous conveyance and a non-synchronous conveyance according to the need.
The device includes a stationary rail 2 which serves as a base, a plurality of pallets 3 movably mounted on the stationary rail 2 and holding parts, and a plurality of drive bodies 4 for moving the pallets 3. The drive bodies 4 are means for generating a high-frequency traveling wave arranged at a narrower interval compared to an outer shape dimension of the pallet 3, and the pallets 3 are nipped by the stationary rail 2 and at least one of the drive bodies 4.
