PURPOSE: To prevent a tile base material from being closely contacted with a receiver supporting surface and further prevent its shape from being deformed by a method wherein at least one of receivers is set to be movable on supporting rods.

CONSTITUTION: Both forward and rearward ends of supporting rods 1, 1 are formed with holes 11. Stoppers 12 having U-shaped sectional surface formed with a longitudinal hole 13 therein are fixed by a screw 14 and a nut 15. In the case that a tile base material (a) is to be dried, right and left receivers 3 and 4 are roughly position set, the tile base material (a) is placed on them, and the right and left receivers 3 and 4 are moved on the supporting rods 1, 1 together with sliding members 6, 8 in such a manner that each of the supporting surfaces 5, 7 and 9 may be closely contacted with the lower surface of the tile base material (a). Upon setting their positions, the stoppers 12 are moved on the supporting rods 1, 1 through utilization of the longitudinal hole 13, abutted against the sliding members 6, 8 and the screws and the nuts 15 are fastened. Under this state, the tile base material (a) is set in a drying furnace together with the pallet and dried, resulting in that moisture is evaporated to cause the tile base material (a) to be shrinked, the right and left receivers 3, 4 are moved to cause the supporting surfaces 5, 7 and 9 to be closely contacted to each other to prevent it from being deformed.
