Abstract:
To shorten time required for exchanging a pallet of a pallet exchanger of a machine tool.
A pallet conveyor for carrying pallets between the machine tool 13 and a plurality of set-up tables 39 and 41 comprises: a driving means having a rack provided on pallets P1 and P2 along the carrying direction of the pallets P1 and P2, a pinion provided on each of a table 31 of the machine tool 13 and the set-up tables 39 and 41 for engaging with the rack, and driving motors MT, M1 and M2 for rotating the pinion to carry the pallets P1 and P2; and a control means 37 for synchronously controlling the driving motors of the driving means.
