To prevent an elevating chain from drooping and eliminate a collecting chain by mutually connecting two elevating chains fixed to the front and rear sides of a pallet at the upper part.
Elevating chains 2A-5A are fixed to the four corners of a pallet 20 loading a vehicle in the multistory parking equipment 1 to move up and down a vehicle. The tip of a chain 3A is fixed to a chain 5A through sprockets 5K, 7K by a connecting tool 13 and the tip of the chain 5A is fixed through a spring to the chain 3A by a connecting tool 15L through sprockets 9K, 11K to impart a tension thereto and eliminate a conventional collecting chain. The sprockets 7K, 9K are driven through sprockets 12K, 13K and a chain 6A by a motor 19 provided with a brake. The opposite chains 2A, 4A are constituted likewise. In this way, the elevating chain 2A-5A are prevented from drooping and hence, the chain length can be reduced.
