PURPOSE: To smooth the change in direction, in a circulation-type pallet transfer device, by abutting a feeding cam body provided on a turning shaft on a cam follower provided on the upper surface or on the lower surface of a pallet to send the pallet to a direction-changing position, and by abutting. the cam follower on a positioning member at the direction-changing position.

CONSTITUTION: In such a condition that the cam follower 5a of a pallet 1b is engaged with both the cam groove m1 of a feeding cam body 40 and the cam side surface m4 of a cam follower 5b and is stopped, operation is carried out to the work on a pallet 1b. Then, a turning shaft 20 is turned by one revolution to make pitch-feeding as much as the half amount of the pallet 1b. Thereby the cam follower 5a of the pallet 1b engages with the cam side surface m3 of the cam body 40, and the cam follower 5b engages with the cam groove m1. Thus, by successively repeating the pitch-feeding, the pallet is displaced from the condition (1) shown in the figure to the condition (3), and the cam follower 5a is introduced into the cam side surface m5 of a cam board 60 so that the pallet is positioned in the corner part.
