PURPOSE: To enable car storage equipment to house a lot of cars efficiently by utilizing a narrow building site in an effective manner.
CONSTITUTION: This storage equipment is provided with an internal delivery track 3 connected to an external delivery 4. Two pallets 5A and 5B are installed in this internal delivery track 3 shiftably in the cross direction. A part of the internal delivery track 3 is formed in these pallets 5A and 5B and two partial tracks 6a and 6b supporting a truck 1 of the car W are placed side by at an interval in the cross direction orthogonal with the internal delivery track 3. In succession, these pallet 5A and 5B are shifted to an advance position advanced to the internal delivery track 3 by means of two driving means 10A and 10B and a storage position retracted in the cross direction, and at either of the advance position or the retraction position, a part of the internal delivery track 3 is formed by these partial tracks 6a and 6b of either of the pallets.
