To produce a hollow part in an optional position in cakes, to fill the hollow part with an edible substance, to further provide a means for quickly baking large dough difficult to carry out sufficient baking even to the center thereof or dough scorching the surface thereof when sufficiently baked even to the center, and to provide a method for producing the cakes using the means.

A hole is bored in the pan for baking so that a columnar material having a cavity in the interior thereof can be fixed. The columnar material is passed through the hole and fixed to thereby produce the hollow part in the optional position in the cakes. As a result, heat is quickly transmitted to the dough center by the heat from the columnar material.
