This panel attaching structure/balustrade panel attaching structure for the passenger conveyer is provided with a panel receiving bracket 12 fixed onto a truss structure 2, a support column 13 erected from the panel receiving bracket 12, a lower side support part 14 and an upper side support part 15 fixed respectively in a lower end position and an upper end position of the support column 13, the panel 20 arranged in a surface side of the support column 13, and having lower and upper ends supported by the lower side support part 14 and the upper side support part 15, and a deflection deterring means 22 for deterring the panel 20 from being deflected to a support column 13 side, and the deflection deterring means 22 is constituted of a fixed nut 23 fixed to the support column 13, and a stopper screw 24 screwed into the fixed nut 23.
