Abstract:
To provide a panel device that can reduce difference in level between panels arranged adjacent to each other in a first direction while still allowing for installation of an apparatus.SOLUTION: A panel device 1 comprises: a pair of ceiling substrates 10, 10 long in a first direction and spaced apart in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; a plurality of panels 20, 20 having their respective ends 22, 22 in the second direction held by the pair of ceiling substrates and arranged adjacent to each other in the first direction; and a connecting member 30 arranged to span the ends 21, 21 in the first direction that are adjacent sides of these panels to connect the ends in the first direction to each other. The panels are provided with a protrusion 25 protruding toward the back side of the ceiling and extending in the first direction to demarcate an apparatus mounting slot 29 opening toward the room and extending in the first direction. The connection member is provided with a mating recess 31 into which the protrusion is fitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
