Abstract:
To provide a panel member which can suppress penetration of an object which has collided, and which can achieve reduction in weight, and a building using the same.SOLUTION: A panel member 1 includes: a panel body 2 including a panel surface part 21 for constituting a panel surface, and a panel leg part 22 provided on an outer periphery of the panel surface part 21; and a reinforcement sheet 3 constituted by woven fabric or non-woven fabric formed by reinforcement fiber, for covering the panel body 2 from one surface side of the panel surface part 21, and fixed to the panel body 2. At the panel member 1, a plurality of protrusions 225 is formed at a tip edge of the panel leg part 22. The plurality of protrusions 225 bites into the outer peripheral part of the reinforcement sheet 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
