Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel retractable mechanism for use in an in-vehicle electronic equipment, which eliminates the sense of discomfort from the operator and enables the operator to easily operate the same.
SOLUTION: The panel retractable mechanism is obtained by a slider 2 slidably supported by a casing 1, in a direction that protrudes from the casing 1, by a slider urging spring, rotatably supporting a lower portion of a panel 6 by the slider 2, and engaging a projection 6a formed on an upper portion of the panel 6 with a longitudinal guide groove 7 fixed to the casing 1. According to the thus obtained panel retractable mechanism, the guide groove 7 is formed like a convex curve in a direction of the interior of the casing 1.
