PURPOSE: To reduce noise by employing a cover curved smoothly with curvature increasing from the forward end toward the rear end and setting the maximum width of the cover equal to the width of upper or lower frame thereby distributing the air flow to the left and right of the framework without causing any turbulence at the time of running.
CONSTITUTION: An outer cover 17 is provided to cover the joint 5a of a framework 5 and formed linearly when viewed from the front side in the advancing direction of vehicle. The side face part 17a thereof is formed in semi-circular shape when viewed from above the roof. The outer cover 17 has maximum horizontal width equal to those of upper and lower frames 9, 10. The inner cover 18 has fin-like shape, for example, and disposed between the upper and lower frames 9, 10 such that the inner cover 18 telescopes as the framework 5 is bent at the joint 5a. With such structure, the air flow is distributed to the left and right and joined smoothly in the rear without causing any turbulence thus reducing noise at the time of running a vehicle.
