To provide a paper bundle feeding device capable of simply coping with the change of the paper size of a fed paper bundle without making a mechanical change, capable of preventing the fed paper bundle from being applied with unnecessary scars, and capable of surely feeding the paper bundle to a holding roll device in the next process to hold it by pressure.
When a motor 13 rotates a screw bolt 12, a paper bundle put at one end of a slide table 11 is moved to the other end direction by a transfer nut 13 and is fed to the next process. When the motor 13 is reversionally rotated, the transfer nut 13 transferring the paper bundle is returned to the initial position, then the next paper bundle is likewise moved. When the paper size of the paper bundle is changed, the paper bundle is fed at the periodic speed corresponding to the paper size merely via an adjustment on the processing work in the succeeding processes.
