To materialize a method which can stably materialize registering with a pattern and makes a usual heating/drying type varnish usable in a method which uses a difference in the gloss of a surface produced by coating with a gloss varnish or a mat varnish synchronized with the pattern in order to give a three-dimensional feeling visually and to provide a method which needs no complex work in the manufacture of a form plate applying the mat varnish or the gloss varnish.

In a paper container manufacturing method, the mat varnish is applied synchronously with the pattern in the method for producing the paper container which gives a visual three-dimensional feeling by the difference in the gloss of the surface synchronized with a printing pattern. In respective production methods, the mat varnish is applied synchronously with the pattern from above it with the glass varnish applied on the whole surface, the form plate for applying the mat varnish and one of the formes of the pattern are the form plate of the same pattern, and the printing pattern is a grain pattern and applied on the conduit part of the pattern.
