To provide a gable-top paper container which is easily opened, is excellent in hermetic sealability, and is manufactured at a low cost.
The paper container has a gable roof type top part which keeps the folded part of one of gables extended in left and right both sides, and a mountain shape folded part 1 is projected forward so that a spout having a lozenge shape is formed, at the time of opening. One or more horizontal reinforcing lines L are formed on the outer side face BCD of the folding part composing the spout. It is preferable that one or more vertical reinforcing lines L' are formed on the inner side face ABC of the folding part composing the spout. The inner side face is also preferably provided with a mark 3, indicating a position to place a finger when the mountain shape folding part is projected forward, at the height of one third to two third from the bottom of the mountain shape folding part 1.
