To provide a paper-containing resin pellet being excellent in suitability for manufacturing the pellet and also in properties of injection molding in the manufacture of a molded article using the pellet, by using a material constituted of a paper constituent and a resin constituent and having the paper content of 50-70 wt.%.

In the paper-containing resin pellet constituted at least of the paper constituent and the resin constituent having dispersing-bonding resin which disperses the paper constituent uniformly and bonds the same, the dispersing-bonding resin is constituted of either low-crystalline soft polypropylene or amorphous polyolefin resin obtained by copolymerizing propylene and ethylene and/or butene-1, or of a mixture thereof. The paper constituent and the resin constituent are made into a paste-like kneaded matter and this is formed in the shape of small grains and cooled, so as to obtain the paper-containing resin pellet having the paper content of 50-70 wt.%.
