The paper cup is made of a laminate consisting of an outside thermoplastic resin layer, a printed layer, an ink permeation preventive layer, a paper base material layer, and an inside thermoplastic resin layer in this order from the outside. The ink permeation preventive layer is made of a resin allowing extrusion laminate, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester, and has a surface roughness of 0.1 to 2 μm or 2.0 to 10 μm.
