Abstract:
To provide a paper cup for use in a microwave oven whose rim of the bottom is not burnt when the cup filled with contents such as a beverage or instant food is cooked by heat in the microwave oven by forming a bottom part of a bottom member as a deep dent with a steep angle.
The paper cup for use in a microwave oven includes a barrel member and the bottom member, wherein the bottom part of the bottom member is formed to be downwardly dented viewed from an internal surface. The bottom part is made of a laminate mainly comprising paper whose weighing capacity is 50 to 300 g/m2 and whose breaking elongation under a condition with humidity of 65% is 10% or more in the longitudinal direction and 10% or more in the lateral direction.
