This paper cutting device comprises conveying means 20a, 20b, 21-27 which convey the pieces of paper one by one, cutting means 30, 32, 36, 38 which are arranged along a paper conveying route and cut the paper, a cut mark reading means 29 which reads a cut mark of the paper and a control means 100 which controls the operation of the conveying means 20a, 20b, 21-27 and the cutting means 30, 32, 36, 38 so that the paper is cut based on the position of the cut mark which is read by the cut mark reading means 29.
