To provide a paper delivery gripper mechanism for a cylinder type screen printing machine which can meet both of thin and thick papers different in paper delivery method.
The gripper mechanism which holds a printing paper P and guides it to a paper delivery position is constituted of a first gripper mechanism 30 and a second gripper mechanism 40 which can come into contact with each other at a paper gripping position. The first gripper mechanism 30 is supported fixedly by a printing cylinder 14, while the second gripper mechanism 40 is made movable on a paper delivery rail 25. The gripper mechanisms are provided with holding parts 32 and 438 of the printing paper P respectively. The holding part 438 of the second gripper mechanism 40 can select first and second positions, and when the holding part 438 is at the first position, the printing paper P can be held thereby. When the holding part 438 is at the second position, the paper P can be held by the holding part 32 of the first gripper mechanism 30.
