Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the removal of broken paper piece from a drier of a paper machine and to safely produce and dry paper having high quality in high efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A paper-dropping nozzle 1 to blast high-pressure fluid such as air or water is placed in a top canvas drier part 11 which is placed before a bottom canvas drier part 12 of a paper machine drier part composed of plural roll groups. A broken paper piece 14 generated by web breakage is dropped by the fluid jet ejected from the nozzle.
