To shorten the work time of a process after printing, improve a paper registering state in a sheet stacking device, and rock paper pads properly arranged above the downstream side of the sheet stacking device in a desired rocking period and/or amplitude when necessary.
This paper ejecting device for the sheet-fed press has the sheet stacking device 6 gripped by a chain gripper 7 and having a plurality of paper pads 9 for registering the front end of a sheet 10 fallen by being released from the chain gripper 7 in a proper position in the advancing direction of the sheet 10, and is constituted so that the paper pads 9 have a driving mechanism drivable asynchronously with driving control of the chain gripper, and are driven by a user desired rocking period and/or amplitude by a signal from a controller 14 electrically connected to the driving mechanism.
