PURPOSE: To prevent a squeeze and fold and to improve a paper feeding function, in a storage unit capable of contg. copying paper of plural sizes, by constitution such that paper is fed by AND output of detection signals from paper detectors provided to a mounting table in the vicinity of limiting plates at both sides of the paper.
CONSTITUTION: Paper detectors 9 are provided respectively to the paper feed directional-point end of a folding bottom part in a movable limiting plate 7 and to a mounting table in the vicinity of a fixed limiting plate 8. Paper feed action is performed by AND condition output of detection signals from these two paper detectors 9. In this way, in both cases when transfer paper 2 is parallelly placed to the direction of paper feeding as shown by a full line and when diagonally placed to the feed direction as shown by a broken line, the paper is not detected by the detector 9 in the vicinity of the movable limiting plate 7, and the feed of the paper is not performed. In this constitution, paper can be fed by AND output of detecting signals from the two detectors, and a skew or fold can be prevented and normal feed of paper is attained.
