Abstract:
To provide a paper feeder capable of preventing abnormal noises that occur in a separation pad during paper feed without degrading feeding performance.
This paper feeder is configured to dissipate the vibration energy of the separation pad 201 by fixing a shock absorber 30 to the separation pad 201 and making the shock absorber 30 vibrated when the separation pad 201 is shaken by paper 16 at the occurrence of stick slip between the paper 16 and the separation pad 201 during paper feed. By this configuration, the vibration of the separation pad 201 is suppressed to the minimum, thereby preventing the abnormal noises.
