Abstract:
PURPOSE:To always obtain an output picture image of high quality by detecting a running speed of conveyed recording paper and deciding a conveying member to be deteriorated when the running speed reaches a predetermined set value, in the case of a copying machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:Introducing paper to a roller part 18 in a paper feeder 10, the paper, when it passes through a spot S1, is detected by a paper sensor 12, sucked by a fan 24 on a belt 19, running being wound on a drive roller 21 and driven rollers 22, 23, conveyed to the right, detected by a paper sensor 13 in a spot S2 and discharged from a roller part 20. A control part 17 inputs a signal of both the sensors 12, 13, calculating a running speed of recording paper in a paper feed part 14 from a distance between the spots S1, S2, and when the running speed decreases to a preset value corresponding to the running speed of the recording paper preset in a memory part 15, the control part 17 decides the drive roller 21, belt 19, etc., being the conveying member, to be deteriorated, turning on a display part 16 and displaying the decision on a CRT25. Thus an output picture image of high quality can be always obtained.
