Abstract:
To provide a paper feeding device that can enhance the convenience even when the frequency of use switching between regular-sized paper and long paper is high.SOLUTION: A paper feeding device 100 determines by a lift height position sensor 605 and an extension lifter HP sensor 607 whether or not a lift plate 507a and a lift plate 507b are at the same height, and when not being at the same height is detected ("Yes" at Step S504), by a paper participation plate 500, determines whether or not long paper extending over the lift plate 507a and the lift plate 507b is scheduled to be used (Step S505), and when the use of long paper is assumed, the controlling means controls so as for the heights of the lift plate 507a and the lift plate 507b to match at the positions of the lift height position sensor 605 and the extension lifter HP sensor 607 (Step S506).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
