PURPOSE: To obtain a paper feeding roller having the superior low temperature characteristic by using the polyurethane which is formed by hardening the urethane prepolymer which is obtained by reacting polyol with polyisocyanate, under the presence of plasticizer.
CONSTITUTION: Polyurethane polymer is obtained by reacting the mixture of polyalkylene aliphatic dibasic acid polyol having an average molecular weight of 1,500W2,500 and polycaprolactone-polyester polyol with polyisocyanate. When the polyurethane which is formed by hardening this prepolymer under the presence of plasticizer is used as paper feeding roller, the frictional coefficient is hardly reduced even at low temperature. Therefore, the paper feeding faculty is not deteriorated even at low temperature. Further, as the polyol to be reacted with polyisocyanate, used is the copolymer of the polyalkylene aliphatic dibasic acid polyol with caprolactone.
