To provide a paper feeding roller capable of improving close adhesion property between a surface layer and an inner layer when using silicone rubber causing no faulty image in the surface layer.
This paper feeding roller 10 is composed of the inner layer 12 formed by soft polyurethane foam body in an outer peripheral part of a core member 11 and the surface layer 14 formed by a silicone rubber molded part bonded on an outer peripheral part of the inner layer 12 through an adhesive layer 13 of liquid silicone. It is preferable to use such silicone that has compatibility with the silicone constituting the silicone rubber molded part as the silicone constituting the liquid silicone. Preferably, viscosity of the liquid silicone is 50 to 60Pa s (25°C). It is preferable that a filling layer for preventing the inner layer 12 from being soaked by the liquid silicone is provided on a surface of the inner layer 12 formed of the soft polyurethane foam body.
