Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any damage and dirt to paper from occurring by installing a paper conveyor means conveying the paper upon holding its tip end and a paper guide means having a space with the former respectively, and traveling the paper guide means at the same direction and speed of the paper feed of the paper conveyor means.
SOLUTION: Three claw devices 4, 5 and 6 are installed in a transfer barrel 1 and two pressing barrels 2 and 3 in each notch on each other boundary, holding a tip end of a sheet of paper 7, and it is conveyed to the downstream side from the upstream side after being regrasped by three holding claw devices 4, 5 and 6. A driving side sprocket 10 and a driven side sprocket 11 supported free of rotation by the bearing of a frame are installed in a paper guide means 8 installed beneath the transfer barrel 1. In addition, a gear at the side of this machine rotating in use of a motor of a printing press as a driving source is engaged with a driving gear clamped to a shaft end of the driving side sprocket 10 which is connected by this gearing so as to make a guide belt 20 travel at almost the same speed as a peripheral rate of the transfer barrel 1 and also in the same direction.
