To solve problems that persons living in a building are forced to live in humid living environments therefor due to deterioration of durability of a building material and environmental deterioration because the building material itself repeats absorption of moisture and recovery by natural drying to always keep the interior of the building in a state of remaining moisture when the surrounding environment is at a high humidity as a result of no humidity regulating function of a finishing material and a structural material of the building material and other building materials in combination.

Attention is paid to a liquefiable material having far infrared effects, antimicrobial actions, deodorizing functions and humidity regulating functions and the liquefiable material having the far infrared effects, antimicrobial actions, deodorizing functions and humidity regulating functions is permeated into paper and contained so as to achieve the characteristics. Thereby, the paper having the far infrared effects, antimicrobial actions, deodorizing functions and humidity regulating functions is obtained. Furthermore, the surface of the resultant paper having the functions is provided with a structure of fine folding to increase the surface area and improve the humidity regulating functions. The paper itself is superimposed on a material used in construction work or laminated thereto in a contact state.
