Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which inspects both of paper kink failure and shrinkage failure by use of a sensor for detecting a surface height of a printing paper.SOLUTION: A paper inspection system 1 includes: a scanner sensor 10 which scans a long width longer than a reference width of a printing paper 2 and outputs cross-sectional shape data of a scanned line; and a paper inspection device 11 which determines a maximum difference of elevation which is a height deemed that the printing paper 2 exists and a length from an initial position to a last position in which the height deemed that the printing paper 2 exists is measured from cross-sectional data output from the scanner sensor 10, and determines that paper kink failure occurs when the maximum difference of elevation is larger than a paper kink failure determination value, and determines that shrinkage failure occurs when the length is smaller than a shrinkage failure determination value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
