To provide a paper sheet counting classification machine in which addition of stackers is easily attained and whose operability is improved.
The paper sheet counting classification machine 1 includes: a machine body 9; a hopper 5 which is provided at a lower part of the front surface of the machine body 9; a plurality of stackers 11 which are provided on the front surface of the machine body 9; a feeding part 15 which feeds paper sheets to be loaded on the hopper 5; a first conveyance part 19 which conveys the paper sheets to be fed to any one of the plurality of stackers 11 with a first conveyance direction which is the same as the feeding direction, converts direction of the paper sheets by 90 degrees from the first conveyance direction to be conveyed to a left side X1 of the machine body 9; a reading part 16 which reads information on the fed paper sheets; a discrimination part 17 which discriminates classifications of the paper sheets on the basis of the read information; a classification part 18 which controls the first conveyance part 19 so as to classify the paper sheets into the stackers 11, or extended stackers 3, 4 according to discrimination results; and a control part 22 which counts the number of paper sheets classified into each stacker 11.
