Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art effectively preventing sticking of paper sheets to the interior of an opening when discharging the paper sheets from the opening for taking the paper sheets such as paper money in/out from a paper sheet handing device such as an ATM having a fan for cooling the device.SOLUTION: In an ATM 1, a temperature sensor 17 detects a temperature in the interior of the ATM 1. A fan 14 is disposed in an air passage for connecting an intake port to the opening 30 provided in the ATM 1. A fan rotation control section 11 controls the rotation speed of the fan 14 according to the temperature in the interior of the ATM 1 detected by the temperature sensor 17. When determining a start of a transaction, the fan rotation control section 11 controls to suppress the rotation speed of the fan 14 and, when determining the end of the transaction, releases the control to suppress the rotation speed of the fan 14.
