To provide a paper magazine having a drawing-out part, the magazine having a structure which can be easily loaded with a long recording material in a rolled form.

The paper magazine includes: a pair of magazine cases which are configured to be open and close and which produce an inner space to house a long recording material in a rolled form; a drawing-out part between opposing portions of the pair of magazine cases so as to draw out the housed recording material to the outside; and a pair of rollers disposed to be biased to nip the recording material on both surfaces drawn by the drawing-out part and to draw out and drive the recording material. The paper magazine is equipped with a roller separating mechanism configured in such a manner that in a state with the pair of magazine cases open, the biased pair of rollers are relatively separated from each other to form a predetermined gap between opposing portions and that in a state with the magazine cases closed, a drawn recording material is nipped by the biased roller on both surfaces.
