To align paper without providing a stopper regardless of the size of the paper by improving a technology storing the carried paper (a document) in a paper discharging tray.
The paper (not shown) is sent along a carrying passage 1 by a carrying roller 4. A paper discharging roller provided at a terminal part of the carrying passage 1 can independently control rotation speed. The paper discharging roller 6 receives the paper while rotating at peripheral speed same as carrying speed (the peripheral speed of the roller) of the carrying roller 4j positioned immediately before the paper discharging roller, accelerates or decelerates immediately after the paper passes through and separates from the carrying roller 4j positioned immediately before the paper discharging roller to be the peripheral speed same as paper discharging optimum speed (speed with which a discharged paper finely aligned). Therefore, the paper is fed (discharged) at the optimum speed.
