Title:
PAPER MONEY COUNTING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3545306
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized paper money counting machine which can efficiently count paper moneys and sort them by denominations.
SOLUTION: The paper money counting machine is equipped with a paper money hopper 1 where paper moneys are set, a payoff roller 4, a sensor device 9 which generates detection data on paper moneys, a ROM which stores reference data on paper moneys, a CPU which compares the detection data on the paper moneys generated by the sensor device with the reference data to decide the denominations of the paper moneys and count acceptable paper moneys, a RAM which stores the count value of the paper moneys, and a stack part 10 for the counted paper moneys. Then the CPU when deciding that paper moneys are not of a reference denomination, but acceptable counts the paper moneys and stores the count value in the RAM, stops driving the payoff roller and a conveyor belt in timing to the feeding of the paper moneys to the paper money stack part, and drives the payoff roller and conveyor belt after the paper moneys are collected from the paper money stack part to restart counting paper moneys.
