Abstract:
To provide a sheet post-processing device capable of forming a booklet-like sheet bundle containing a non-binding sheet to be not bound in binding sheets therein with good appearance.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device B comprises: a paper corner folding mechanism 50 for corner-folding a corner portion of sheets conveyed by conveying mechanisms 24 and 25 from an image forming device A through a conveying path 22; a binding processing mechanism 60 for aligning and stacking the conveyed sheets into a bundle, followed by performing the binding processing; and a control unit 200 for controlling operations of those mechanisms. The control unit performs a corner-folding processing of the corner portion of the non-binding sheet 33 in advance, stacks the non-binding sheet and the binding sheet with those aligned in the longitudinal direction and the width direction so that the corner-folded portion is at the same corner position as the corner portion to be bound of the binding sheet 37, and then binds a sheet bundle 39 in an inner side of a corner-missing portion 38 formed by the corner-folded portion of the non-binding sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
