To provide inexpensive paper for preventing forgery not requiring a specific facility such as ultraviolet light irradiation equipment in order to discriminate a true paper from a forged paper.
The paper for preventing forgery is obtained by mixing discriminating fine pieces for discriminating the forged paper into second layer pieces of a second layer from surface layer pieces or middle layer pieces of a middle layer in a multilayer paper composed of two or more layers. The discriminating fine pieces for discriminating the forged paper may visually be checked through the surface layer pieces or the discriminating fine pieces for discriminating the forged paper mixed in the second layer pieces or the middle layer pieces may visually be checked by releasing paper pieces of the layer which is upper than the second layer or the middle layer. The paper for preventing forgery can more inexpensively be produced by using a chemical fiber such as rayon, paper pieces or fine pieces of mica, etc., as the discriminating fine pieces for discriminating the forged paper.
