Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid printing on a tape portion located on a side face of bound paper in a paper processing apparatus which binds a plurality of kinds of paper having different sizes in a short side direction, and creates the bound paper by accumulating the same kind of paper and winding a tape therearound in the short side direction.SOLUTION: A paper processing apparatus (a bill processing apparatus 100) comprises: a binding part 9 for creating bound paper by accumulating the same kind of paper and winding a tape therearound in a short side direction; a printing part (a printing part 97) for printing a content related to the bound paper on a printing portion so as to go along the tape with a tape portion located on the front face or the back face of the paper in the bound paper as the printing portion; and a printing setting part (a control part 120) for setting a length to be printed on the tape or a position to be printed on the tape so as not to print on the tape portion located on the side face of the bound paper on the basis of the size of the paper to be bound in the short side direction.
