To provide a paper processing device and an image forming device enabling good alignment accuracy of paper rear ends of a bound paper bundle.
The paper processing device includes: a paper carrier; a stacking tray for stacking a plurality of paper sheets carried by the paper carrier on a stacking face as a paper bundle; an alignment member to which rear ends in a paper carrying direction of the paper sheets stacked on the stacking tray abut to align the paper sheets; pressing members installed opposing to the stacking face, movable in the thickness direction of the paper bundle and pressing a paper upper face of the paper bundle in the vicinity of the alignment member; and a binding unit binding a portion of the paper bundle in the vicinity of the alignment member. At least the two pressing members are installed and each of the pressing members is movable in the paper width direction orthogonal to the paper carrying direction. The paper upper face at a central part in the paper width direction of the paper bundle in the vicinity of the alignment member is pressed by each pressing member. While pressing the paper bundle, the pressing members are moved from the central part side to one end side and the other end side in the paper width direction, respectively.
