Abstract:
To provide a paper processing device capable of reducing costs for reducing interference of paper with a paper processing unit, and an image forming apparatus.
A receiving member 70 including a first wall 70a, a reference wall 70b, and a second wall 70c receives paper P that has been conveyed from an introduction roller pair 424 to a staple tray 37. A control unit 301 causes the introduction roller pair 424 to convey the paper P to the staple tray 37 while causing a movement mechanism 380 to position a stapler 60 at a standby position where the stapler 60 is arranged so that the first wall 70a, the reference wall 70b, and the second wall 70c are received between a receiving stand 61 and an arm part 62 in the stapler 60.
