Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct more efficient processing according to the consolidation condition of paper if they are of the same in size, in a paper processing device having a function of stacking conveyance for high productivity.
SOLUTION: This paper processing device, provided with a pre-stack part (conveyance passage D) for conveying paper in a stacking condition, a staple tray 121 accumulating the conveyed paper sheets and conducting prescribed post-processing, e.g. stapling, a delivering claw 110a delivering paper bundle which have undergone post-processing in the staple tray 121, and a delivering belt 110 as well as a delivering roller 103, is so formed that it may be selected whether the stacking conveyance is conducted according to a difference in the length of a previous paper from the subsequent paper in the conveying direction thereof. A post-processing device 1 is inputted with information on a difference in the length as a mode input from the main body side of a copying machine 2 or size information in the conveyance direction of the paper.
